SALTA PROJECT:

SOLUTION FOR AGILE LARGE-SCALE TESTING AUTOMATION

U&Lab developed SALTA to minimize the huge impact of all phases of a pandemic. Humanity won't wait! Massive disease screening has never before been an option, but SALTA now offers a novel approach to large-scale screening.
SALTA is an end-to-end, robust, long-term solution that represents the best screening strategy for pandemic-related issues.
SALTA can be deployed locally (SALTA ONE), in an all-in-one mode (for universities, military sites, and senior centers), or in regions with several test units (SALTA HUB). This flexibility is useful for minimizing the spread of a pathogen when a pandemic first starts. The most advanced deployment of SALTA is SALTA-MAX, which can act as a pillar in a long-term government strategy against any type of pathogen.
SALTA has the following main components:
A "SALTA Kit" network is hosted at sites via “SALTA Drives.” This network efficiently gathers saliva samples for testing.
A "SALTA Unit" network is hosted in the hospitals that are involved in the screening strategy. This network tests the saliva samples provided by the SALTA Kit network.
A SALTA Server is hosted in a cloud infrastructure. This server provides all business services needed to make this system work, including registering, reporting, and monitoring services.
